1. Acceptance

By playing Anything Chess ("the Game"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. The Game is developed and operated by Raphael Tan ("we", "us").

2. Eligibility

The Game is available to players of all ages on the web. However, when accessing the Game through third-party platforms (Discord, Google), you must comply with that platform's minimum age requirements. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

3. The Game

Anything Chess is a free-to-play browser-based chess game with AI-generated elemental reactions. The Game is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

You may play without creating an account. Optionally, you can sign in with Discord or Google to sync your progress across devices.

6. Virtual Currency (Unlock Tokens)

The Game features unlock tokens, a virtual currency used to unlock elements in your collection.

7. Paid Features

The Game may offer optional paid features (e.g., supporter tiers) through third-party payment providers (Stripe, Discord). Purchases are subject to the payment provider's terms. Refund policies are governed by the applicable payment provider and local consumer protection laws.

10. Intellectual Property

The Game's code, shaders, and game design are the property of the developer. The Game incorporates the following third-party assets, each used under their respective licenses:

AI-generated element content (names, descriptions, effects) is part of the Game and may not be extracted in bulk or used commercially without permission.

The web version of the Game may display optional rewarded ads. Ads are not shown inside the Discord Activity. You may use browser ad-blockers; the Game will continue to function normally without ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on ad-related data collection.

12. Availability & Modifications

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Game or its servers. We may update, modify, or shut down any part of the Game at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve player data but cannot guarantee it in all circumstances.
